The act of stewardship

Hey guys am so sorry I haven’t posted in a while I actually don’t have any excuse for that. I was studying with my bible study group and I felt the need to share some things with you all. I hope this adds a lot to your life.

1. What is important to God

God is passionate about the salvation of his children. Finding your identity in Gods word, loving his word and living by his word; and using this knowledge you have gained this new found love to draw in more people to him by serving their interests and ministering his word to them.

Matthew 5 vs 13-16 is talking about believers being the salt and light of the world. In verse 16 the Bible explains that we should let our light shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven; meaning as believers we should give our self to the interests of Others.

What is important to God is understanding the sacrifice Jesus did and be ready to please him by serving others, which is beyond activities but obeying and teaching his instructions.

2. Who is a kingdom steward and what does it mean?

First of all what is stewardship ? It is the activity or job of protecting and being responsible for something or someone’s property.

Having this basic understanding kingdom stewardship is someone taking the responsibility of Gods people and property Here on earth. Putting the interest of God work at heart and living to please him and thank him for the grace of salvation.

 Luke 12:42-44 KJV

[42] And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season? [43] Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. [44] Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath. … this scripture explains who a kingdom stewardship is, someone working whole heartedly for God here on earth.

Ephesians 6:6-8 KJV

[6] Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; [7] With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: [8] Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. …

3.should every believer be a kingdom steward and why?

First of all who is a believer? He is one who has accepted the truth and the word of God. For you to have accepted Jesus and the word of God you must have also accepted his ministry and you must have understood the gravity of what he went through on the cross just for our sins. As a believer it is expected that out of being grateful you will do the work of Christ on earth for dieing for you and by that you will be a kingdom steward.

Yes every believer should be a kingdom steward because it shows the love you have for Christ and his word and most importantly it’s a way of saying thank you to God for the salvation of your soul.

4. What is the reward of a kingdom steward?

Exodus 23:25-26 KJV

[25] And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. [26] There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

Matthew 6:33 When one gladly and wholeheartedly serve the lord, all the blessings above and even more would be given to the person and this blessings are not limited to you alone, you and your house hold up to your generation will benefit from the blessings of the reward of being a kingdom steward.
